ORR AUTOSPORT WINS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!9/17/06 Mid Ohio Sports Car Course, Lexington Ohio
Chris Orr wins 2006 NASA National Championship in German Touring Sedan series! (GTS)
Racing in a 55 car field, Chris dominated the GTS 4 class winning by 16 seconds, setting fastest race lap and finishing third overall. A dream result for the Orr Autosport Team.
The Orr Autosport M3R was the only BMW competing in GTS 4, this fast class is usually dominated by lightweight Porsches. (see fotos) We are particularly proud of this win and the fact that our chassis and motor are built entirely in house!
The 2006 season has been extraordinarily successful for our team. Winning seven of nine races and the National Championship in the same year represents a milestone for Orr Autosport. We have announced our arrival on the national BMW Tuning scene and we look forward to to the challenge of defending our NASA GTS title in 2007!
Thank you to all of our friends and technical partners for your support. We share this win with you!
